-In England, you can get out over £100 per day, even with international credit card.

-In Portsmouth, it's always the sale. So, life's always cheaper than France. It's important for shop to make believe to tourist that it's a good price.

-Shops cheat about price but some are honest. it's surprising but they show you THE bold NEW PRICE, the cat price and in tiny "has previously been on sale for £...". It's a lot of confusing information because sometimes the previous price was lower than the two other. Without forget, they add in red  " Save £...".
BIG TRAP !!!

-The shop Argos has an impressing politic : There are 3 steps.

First, you can touch the product, you select them on a big catalogue where you have to note their
code number and you can verify the new price & the availability by pressing the code on an electronic device.

After you have to pay them. So either there are 8 tills where you confirm your choice. The salesman or saleswoman gives you your ticket with an older number. Or you can pay by card.

The last step is the collect : you have to wait until someone calls your order number, and go to take products to either desk A or desk B.

Given that, you can touch the product before to buy it. The shop sells you an insurance like a guarantee.(but it's expensive)

-In england, when you buy a subcription for mobile phone or top-up, you don't have a limitation of the availibility. It's useful for people like me, not stingy, but thrifty.
